ALL PRO Trailers Awarded Division of Forestry Contract

AllPro trailers Heavy duty Dozer bed and Dozer
Well we are very proud at ALL PRO Trailers to have been awarded the 2010 State of Florida Department of Agriculture Division of Forestry Truck Bed manufacturing contract. In 2008 We won the contract and delivered 55 truck bodies to the Lake City Forestry Center well ahead of the finish date.
Although the 2010 contract is for between 8 and 18 we hope that the stimulus funds we all hear so much about will find it’s way into this project. Here at ALL PRO Trailers we do most assembly like this by prefabrication using lots of Jigs. Thankfully we still have all the jigs from the 2008 projects.
In the construction of the beds we purchase both raw steel and prefabricated components from vendors like Namasco Steel, Oneal Steel, Monarch hydraulics as well as many wire and paint suppliers. The beds require a little more attention because these trucks are used to carry the bulldozers that the state of Florida uses for Hurricane and storm Emergency cleanup as well as fighting wildfires across Florida and South Georgia. ALL PRO Trailers build these body to the highest standard and fire resist characteristics as possible. All Wiring is ran in a heat resistant mesh loom to protect the wiring from snags and hot embers.
These trucks carry specially modified John Deere Dozers with a big honking plow attached. The Hydraulic loading ramps save back and shoulder injurys when raising and lowering the ramps.
Once all the fitting and welding is don to the truck beds and the ramps are all installed it’s off to the paint department. Our lead Painter has been painting at ALL PRO Trailers for 7 years will be applying a thorough coat of a high zinc primer then two heavy coats of a custom blended paint.
Last but not least the wiring department gets there hands on it and starts installing the maze of wiring harness. A good coating of Kendall Sealand Sound undercoating and then back to the state the truck goes.
